Education and Experience
Dr. Rani received undergraduate and post graduate training from esteemed institutions in Southern-India, and went to specialize in Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgery from Safdarjung Hospital– which is one of the most renowned and biggest plastic surgery departments in the country.
She continued her training with a dedicated fellowship in cleft lip and palate surgery at G S Memorial Hospital, Varanasi under the smile train programme. This centre operates among the largest number of cases of cleft lip and palate cases in the world.
Always with a keen interest in cosmetic surgery, Dr Rani has followed her passion. She travelled to Brazil to receive training under Dr. Ivo Pitanguy in Cosmetic Surgery, which is one of the many other up-skilling programmes she has signed up from the stalwarts in the field to enhance her skills.
Dr Rani later joined the Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai, where she trained in microvascular surgery under the guidance of renowned microvascular surgeons and gained immense experience in handling complex cases. Moving to UAE, she joined Mafraq Hospital (Abudhabi)-which is a tertiary care public hospital that provided her the exposure to perform complex surgeries and the prestigious appointment as a member of research committee. She has also worked at Cocoona Centre for Aesthetic Transformation (Dubai), earning a reputation for herself in Breast and Body Contouring Surgery, and is currently practicing at Dubai London Hospital, Dubai. In November 2021, she was awarded “Excellence in Patient Outcome” at the APA (the Aesthetic Practice Award) by Cocoona Centre for Aesthetic Transformation, Dubai.
