How Is Liposuction Performed?

In all forms of liposuction, the treatment region is first saturated with a numbing agent that makes the fat swell and become firmer. This is called tumescent liposuction. The tumescent solution includes a local anaesthetic in normal saline along with medication to reduce blood loss.
Tumescent liposuction:
